For as long as I can remember I’ve loved photography. As a little girl I would pull out all my mother’s photo albums and flip through the pages that told story after story. There is nothing better than looking at a picture and immediately being transported back to that moment. A picture can speak volumes, invoke different emotions, spark a memory that has been tucked away or remind you of a special moment you may otherwise have forgotten. A photograph is the only present you can give to share these emotions with someone who couldn’t be there. It’s these stories that keep me clicking.
My inspiration is my family, specifically my son, Carter. He reminds me every day with those big brown eyes and warm personality why I love taking pictures. I must also say that without my biggest supporter and fan, my husband, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
I have a casual impromptu style of photography. Through my photography I strive to capture moments that catch your heart. What I don’t strive to capture is the traditional posed portraits. Your images should be as unique as you are.
