Simple. Fun. Candid. There are no rules and no script. My goal is to do more than take a picture. It’s to capture those moments that reflect the love and expressions you see within your child every day. Your session will take place in an environment designed to make you and your family comfortable. Your home, a park or local ice cream shop; there really are no limits to the kind of locations that will work for my style of photography. If the location fits your child, it will most likely work. Also feel free to bring along items that you and your child love, like a favorite toy, lollipop or blanket, anything that will make your session extra special.
The typical session will take place in the mid-morning or late afternoon and last anywhere from one to three hours. As a mother of a 2 year old boy, I understand that children can be unpredictable. Some warm up quickly, while others need more time. Potty and snack breaks are welcomed, while playing, dancing and just plain silliness are all encouraged.
Following your session, I will create an on-line personalized photo gallery for you and your family to review the moments captured. Your images will be displayed approximately 14 days after your session. The gallery will be active for 7 days. Galleries can be published for an additional 7 days with a charge of $25. All images NOT purchased after the online viewing period will be purged. Only purchased images will be kept beyond this point.
This price includes everything needed to capture your precious moments. My personal consultation and pre-session information packet will get you ready for the shoot. The photo session is followed by digital dark room editing. Finally, I will create a personalized on-line photo gallery for you to preview and select those perfect moments for printing. All travel associated with the session is also included, although an additional fee of $30 will apply for travel over 30 minutes from my house. The creative fee is due within 5 days of booking your date. If the fee is not received your date will be available to other families.
Print prices start at $25. Moments Captured by Retha also offers Digital images on disk, canvas gallery wraps, session albums and custom holiday cards and birth announcements. A complete price list of all products and mounting styles will be available upon request.
